Character Map

Character Map serves as a utilitarian tool and keyboard extension, facilitating the viewing and entry of various special characters, including currency symbols, mathematical notations, arrows, bullets, emoji, and more.

The application provides users with the flexibility to configure visible sections on the keyboard, while also allowing for the creation of custom categories featuring frequently used glyphs.

The keyboard extension encompasses all enabled symbols, functioning seamlessly across applications like a traditional keyboard. To enable the keyboard extension, users should follow these steps:

1. Open Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards
2. Select “Add New Keyboard”
3. Locate and select Character Map

It is important to note that Character Map operates as a supplementary utility keyboard and does not replace the standard keyboard. Users can continue to utilize the standard keyboard for regular typing, with the option to swiftly switch to Character Map for inserting special symbols.

Privacy Policy

The developer assures that no data or input is transmitted outside of the device. All information is stored locally and remains confidential within the phone. Additionally, the Character Map keyboard extension does not seek full access permissions, ensuring that all input is protected by iOS security measures.
